Default Frederick, MD Police to Crack Down on Window Tinting

Starting March 1st Frederick, MD police are aiming to crack down on window tinting.

"On Monday, police in Frederick will begin a 60-day initiative to target illegally tinted vehicle windows on roads throughout the county, Maryland State Police 1st. Sgt. Chris Sasse said."

" "We're going to take a bite out of tinting," Sasse said. "

So watch out if you have anything darker than 35% in the Frederick area.

And it all starts the day I come home for Spring Break...

Yea, I know. I'll be driving our truck for the week while I'm home, so I don't get hassled.

You're right, and good question. Although I'm not sure. From the article it seemed to me it was Frederick only.

i feel the sameway, the money shold be spent in a more responsible and effective ways. on the other hand i feel like the fredrick and state police feel that this is the way to get the drug dealers and theifs. just on the news, in s.e. dc the police pulled over a e300 MB with tinted windows, reinforced undercarriage/doorjams, and bulletprof glass. thay found all kinds of drugs in the car ( he was a crack dealer ). the newslady must have said window tint like 10 times. so, with that i see why there doing it. im just staying out of there with my 13%.-ryan

There is a far cry between us and our 4-banger Scions, specifically those in Fredrick MD vs the crack dealer in DC with his armored crack car. Not really a good "I can understand the cops pov" example.
