Halo 3 Tournament @ 355 Scion.
 

Hey Guys,
Last year the Gears of War Tournament was a Huge Success although it lasted 23 hours!!! We wont let it last that long this time. It was a lot of fun though and we had lots of free give aways. We are in the process of setting up the HALO 3 Video game tournament for July 27th 2008. 164 contestants were in the last one. the Prizes were awesome and this time its going to be even bigger. Just wanted to get an idea of all the people that are going to come. Car Show and VIP parking for all scion owners obviously. There will be good prizes for the car show as well. Start the list!

Date has been changed from july 13th to july 27th in an effort to allow contestants to bel able to make our tournament as well as the MLG tournaments.

this is a wednesday... so im not sure if i can make it, and its awhile away. but ill see what i can do

Thats so sweet. I wish we could set up something like that up here in minnesota.

It's a lot of work but its a lot of fun. Id like all dealers to come too! IT will be a fun day. Maybe we can have a DEALER HALO Tournament before the games begin?

Okay i had another meeting about it today. We will have close to 300 participants and the top 8 will get prizes. Haven't yet named what the grand prize will be, should be close to $3,000.00?

I had fun at the GOW tourney, hopefully you'll get an earlier start then last year. I should be there like last year. :D let me know if you need help with anything. . . got plenty of time to kill, I'm jobless for the moment. lol

will the halo tournament be team games or free for all? and if there is team, will teams be assigned or can i bring my own team?

Okay here is what i DO know. The tournament will be Approx. 7-8 hours long. Food and Drinks on the house. Scion Car show will be free entry. Halo 3 tournament will be a free for all with a $25.00 Entry. The top 8 will get prizes with perhaps some more. Microsoft will be here as far as i know giving away lots of free stuff. 50 people will get special SCION xbox 355 Skins. The art is awesome i think you'll really like it.

1st prize is going to be $3000 i think. Top 8 get prizes. There will be over 200 contestants. Im thinking about doing some random prizes. I know microsoft will be doing that. Everyone will leave with something pretty much. even if its just a scion hat or keychain.

so anyone who has played halo online will know that free for all, is more about how man y kills that you can steal, i've does some MLG, and that is the basic thing for free for alls you dont have to be the best, you just have to have good timing. You guys should do a 2v2. if you guys have 200+ people playing, it could take quite a while to get through all the rounds....also depends on how many tvs that you have, you could put a team on one tv and one on another, and that way noone can screen look! and i am sure that everyone that wants to come and play has one person that they can play with.

We did 2v2 last year with gears of war, some people didn't have partners. Some peoples partners weren't as good and so it brought the team down. Some people would have been better off alone. This way its every man for himself. We should have well over 20 tv's probably close to 32 TV's if possible. Better prizes this way too, more of a turn out with a free for all tournament. I intend to make this tournament as fair as possible and will address the "screen look" problem.

yeah i understand that if tyou are just ranodmly partnerd with someone else they might not be as good as you are, but if you know the person that you are bringing to play with its all good. that is cool that you will have that many tvs. what maps were you guys planning on using? and format the the free for all? how many people per game?

Wish i had all that information man, i have a meeting on march 18th and will know MUCH more by then. Ill tell you what, you own a scion right? I will guarentee all Scion owners VIP parking and i will see to it that you leave with SOMETHING in your hands, whether its a new scion hat, or a keychain or something. I promise i will post new information as i get it. will you be comming?

I need help putting together a SCION car show. I would be willing to meet up with you. I want scion owners to be involved. I want to put together the best Scion Car show yet. What do you think?

Can do, However you might want to talk to ShadowBox and Madddsciontist. they've done the circuit and all that good stuff. I can always set up a meet for everyone to get some ideas. Let me know!
