2007:

xternal dimensions: overall length (inches): 174, overall width (inches): 69.1, overall height (inches): 55.7, wheelbase (inches): 106.3, front track (inches): 59.3, rear track (inches): 59.3 and curb to curb turning circle (feet): 36.1

2008:

Scion TC Spec
Curb Weight - Automatic (lb.) 2954.2 Wheelbase (in.) 106.3 Length (in.) 174 Width (in.) 69.1 Height (in.) 55.7 Track Front (in.) 59.3 Track Rear (in.) 59.3

So like I said, go tell you MASTER mechanic to go back to Mcdonalds. I hate to be rude about it. But so many dealerships think they have good service people, or think their salesman know what they are talking about. When in reality, the general public knows a load more than them.

I dont even work at Scion and I know they are the same. You work at Scion and he worls at Scion and dont know that? Arent their rules that people have to know something about cars to work on, for, with them?

Read my post above, yes, I do. Or I have the ability to find out. Unlike people that work at Scion.

Deffinetly, I usually dont get rude, but when people that work at Scion come to a scion forum with False claims, I get a bit defensive.

And since credibility of my numbers will come up, here ya go, let your Master Tech study this:

2008: http://www.automobilemag.com/am/2008...c/compare.html

2007: http://www.automallusa.net/2007/scio...fications.html

Ohhh and this is all in the Brochure that Scion/Toyota hands out at the front door to the dealerships.

LOL

Your the one that came in here acting like you and your Master Mechanic know everything about the tC.
MY OPINION???
I didn't know I wrote the tC brochure book for 2007 and 2008 and made it my opinion what the size of a tC is.

Your comments and attitude show the lack of TRAINING and knowledge the Scion service providers, dealers, salesman and service writers have. Doesn't this worry you?

I guess I am just upset because dealerships are a scam. They know little to nothing about cars. my posts aren't directed at you, they are directed at the car sales and service in general. Its jus you give good example of being a product of your training, which usually turns out to be IMPROPER training.

Maybe the reason I have had my supercharger replaced 3 times....under warranty...due to either TRD issues or MASTER TECH installs!!!!

But your right, the facts of cars are just that, an opinion, and that will never change how dealerships work, because who wants to be a service writer and have TRUE/ACCURATE information anyway?

AFAIK, the body didnt change from 07 to 08. i was under the impression that only subtle differences like the headlights and tail lights were different.

Im not wasting my time, I am helping keep the facts straight.

You need to recognize what forums are. Forums are a place for knowledge to those less knowledgeable. You came in here asking about vertical doors, you expect truthful/true answers, correct?

Then you spout off info that isnt true. What if someone comes in here and actually uses the search button to find if the 2007 and 2008 tCs are different sizes. They stumble across your post, and see your credits of being a service writer. They are going to take your word as true.

There are people on these forums that actually like true info, and if I see non true info, I will research it, LIKE IT DID, and correct that info.
So I do have something to say until it is known what is true and what is false. SO have fun with your little smilies. I would hate for you to come across a thread that is false and it cost you thousands all because no one spoke up to point out false info.

So since you dont care about true or false, I will answer your Vertical Doors question.

THEY WONT FIT. There ya go, if its said on the internet its true.
