did u touch the gauge needles at all???
you have to take the cluster out and adjust the needles

Speedometer should be a dead zero when car is off, same thing with gas gauge
make sure its not too low or too high, may take you a couple tries to get it right

Is this for an xB/xA or a tC?

you need to be specific on what vehicle..

the tC does not have it's gas gauge settle to it's zero... it's in between the fuel light... which may account for why it's 1/4 tank off... because it's set too high if you zero it out at the 'R' line..

nothing is broken... just needs to have the needles put back on right.
