Default Installing aftermarket foglights with stock headlight wiring

I am contemplating purchasing some aftermarket fog lights that will go in the side bumper cut outs for fog lights. I already have the factory fog lights in the center of the lower grille. Is it possible to use the wiring from the factory headlights to install the aftermarket foglights?

The VRD/VRD style fog lights use the same harness and switch as the OEM setup. It's totally plug and play and should take less than 20 min to put in.

If you're going with a universal fog light kit, it'll take some splicing, if you know which wire does what. Otherwise you'll have to run all the wiring yourself.

What do you mean by VRD? I'm guessing those are the foglights meant specifically for the tc that go in the actual bumper.

VRD=Vertex Racing, the company that sells the foglights that goes in corners of the bumper. Their website lists everything overpriced, but can be bought with a "discount". Buying from them on e-Bay is cheaper. The VRD style ones are the same fogs, but doesn't have the VRD name on the packaging, and also can be bought for about $110 on e-Bay.

VRD fogs:

VRD-style:

Then you have the rejected design by VRD:

Hey one more question. Dealing with the "plug and play" of the vrd style fog lights, I wont have to mess with any of the wires running from the switch or anything right? The only hook up that I will need to make is to the connector near the headlight wires correct? I just want to make sure that this is absolutely plug and play because I'm not the greatest when it comes to splicing.

Just leave the switch already in your car alone. Disconnect the harness for the fog lights directly behind the front bumper on the driver's side. Plug the replacement fog lights directly into the stock harness.

The replacement fog assemblies are simple too. Pop out the side vents, insert the new fog assemblies in their place. They have clips, so it's just a simple push. Can't get simpler than that.
