I love all your ideas about getting a glock holster and using other alternative methods to deter thieves. Being that my best friends have been hurt has my personally involved and I am all for sticking together and meeting up to devise some new strategies. I agree that many of us car owners are targetted, whether by dumb luck of passing the car, stalking the owners, or going to shows and meets as many of you guys have mentioned.
I guess the best advice is to be on your guard, look out for suspicious people like the red car and black civic si mentioned, take alternate routes when in your precious ride, slap the best security system you got on there but don't let the criminals know what it is by a sticker, relocate your horns (or get another), maybe get a second battery or relocate your main, park in well lit areas, etc. etc, etc.
I hope the criminals that did these things get caught, but remember there are plenty others out there. Probably the best way to protect yourself and catch the criminals is to think like one.

yea its a blower... we've gotten rentals so getting around is not a problem...
i was thinking that us three should get the viper 5900 alarms or something... check those out but we def. need alarms.
if u wanna meet up on Sunday after 7... some of us are meeting up to discuss what the insurance said and the progress done so far...

just got off the phone with your other brother from the same mother... I just bought the best alarm and I'm getting you both some too. I'll be taping the install so we'll be straight to install in yours without any problems. Tell the Claim Handler. And if you have any tracking information (IE Serial Num or something) ask the seller for it. If it is legit then he wont mind giving you the information, if its not he will avoid.
In any case My suggestion is report it to handler see what they can do, if not report it to ebay, orrrrr bid on it and meet up locally to kick hiss ___

thats sux.. i kind of know what it feels like b/c my moms sienna got broken into. they took all her loan info in her glove compartment. then 4 months later my bro's civic hatch got lots of the interior things broken into. they tried to steal it but it had a club on it so i'm all paranoid about my car now
