Lets go racing 2010....DRAG STRIP ... COME ONE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
hey Martin I thought 75/80 shut down years ago... I went there way long ago. Well Will and Kurt, keep going and practicing. On another note, Wed. I went to an 1/8th mile track after work... it's getto but only 10 minutes from Ptuning. I found out really quick my car is no longer good in the 1/8th mile LOL, it finally hooks and builds full boost right before the 1/8th mile mark.
Here is results from last weekend's circuitcross. http://www.get-fast.net/nasacross/032810res_raw.htm I found out really quick that running a large front splitter without rear supporting aero makes for extremely unstable high speed braking. I spun out as soon as I hit the brakes at the end of the strait, went sideways through the grass near 100mph. Lucked out and no damage was done, rest of my runs I took it easy braking early to not upset handling. Still posted a fast time but I usually run 54's on street tires there with far less power.
Ken did AWESOME. 1st track event EVER and rocked. We are really looking forward to NJ next weekend!

only thing good bout 75 and 80 is the fact that u dont have to drive through a water pit to stage up..
last season the track was poorely maintained as in prep work
the other day there was honestly id say maybe 1 tiny layer of VHT for maybe 10 feet after that it was completely missing
the track is also at a uphill slope
