Default Madddsciontist's Box is DONE!

So i figured id leak ya some photos of my current project. Sadly materials came way late in the week and has forced me to cancel going to VIP. Now that i have my fiberglass and other supplys, everythings commin along nicely now. These are shots taken earlier this week, since then ive gotten most of the bonding done and started the molding in process. Oh and if ya notice, my hatch has been reskinned finnally. Ill have some newer photos asap showing the bonding/moulding... Oh! plz dont mind the steelies, id rather not scratch up my Works. Thanks Jesse!

This last shot is me laying on the ground.... with the new shorter shocks, im about 1/2 and inch off the ground and lvl front to back.

Default My bubble flare project, new pics 4/28

Heres some newer pics for ya.... this is after reshaping and cutting the fenders, cutting and reshaping the qtrs, adding the 20mm shims to the rear, new shocks in the rear, fiberglassing the flares on, duraglass the entire fenders/qtr, cutting the flares to mould into the rockers, fiberglassing and mudding the rockers. Ive done it this way so I can still remove the rockers and fenders... Rather than having the whole thing moulded. Still have the bumpers to do... and figuring out how to mount the front bumper to the fender. Since I cut the fender, theres no more area to attach the clip/zipties. Plus the new setup doesnt rub the tires at full drop. Thats right! I can roll still at full drop with the 17x8.5 25 offset Works! Even with the 20mm shims in the rear. Ill try to keep the pics in order as they were taken over a few days.

This is the sideskirt after fitment and fiberglass:

And now the sideskirts have been mudded to match the qtr/fender:

Some of my photos didnt turn out or were too blurry, ill have more for ya soon. PLZ keep in mind that so far i have about 80-100 hours invested in this... every night after 6 till i cant keep my eyes open any longer. Plz dont send me any PM's asking me to do something like this for your vehicle (i have recieved many). This is my hobby and my project car. I happen to do Body work for a living... but that doesnt mean i wanna embark on anyone elses projects... I have enough of my own. Sorry if that sounds mean. But you wouldnt believe some of the messages you get on these boards. Hope you enjoy, and i cant wait till im done and bust it out on you! haha... -Mikey tha Madddsciontist

So another weeks gone by... And im crazy busy at work. So i didnt get Too much done. All the moulding will be done this weekend though. I also built brackets for the front and rear bumpers. So they are now solid w/ no need for the lil plastic clips on the fenders/qtrs. No more zip ties either :0) Pics really arnt doing justice though. Its hard to see the extent of the flare. But i assure you its big. Prolly best noticed in the shot of the front. Well anyway, here they are:

And this shot is BY FAR my favorite... it just shows how wide and mean it looks:

Next week is finnish sanding.. then spray fill... then more sanding... then primer... then more sanding.... then FUN! Enjoy -Mikey
