Hey, its Mikey. For those who know me, and those that knew my car. I had to turn my scion back in to toyota financial. Many of you know that Ive been sick. Maybe not to what extent. But Its been a hard rough year for me. Ive been unable to work for most of that year. And as we all know, car payments are hard to manage when theres no more money. Ive lost 70 lbs and most of my "life" being cooped up on bed rest. Been in and out of the hospital more that 30 times in that year. As I write this now im recovering from surgery having had 7 inches of my colon, and my appendix removed. One of the hardest things to date is realising how much Doctors we rely upon dont really know. Constant bad diagnosis and prescriptions that i really shouldnt have taken. It all leaves my pretty wrecked. But by far the hardest thing is loosing my Scion. I put so much of myself into that car. Watching it get taken away was watching that part of me go. So many nights of blood sweat and tears were only rivaled by the Joy of participating in so many Scion events. Not that ive been able to attend to many lately, I dont think ill be attending anymore. Im not sure I will be able to take the constant questions on where my Box went. Thats why Im writing this today. So i leave you with the last pics taken of my car, and many thanks for making the whole scion thing what it is. Thank you. >Mikey

Horrible feeling isnt it? Although I have had a job, I took a 400 a month pay cut. Toyota Finanical wouldnt refinance, just defre payment for 2 months, then charge me interest on that too til its paid off. The xa was full of oem accessories, but too painful to drive. THe pain I had in my right knee left 2 weeks after I started driving the xb. I wasnt rich enough to do much with the xb and 30mpg got old fast. I was hitting 42 with the xa before I traded. My monthly payment was half.

I too was a tacoma owner as well as scion. I traded both for a honda insight. Hard to sell a car in this economy to someone other than the dealer. I got a few grand from my employer from buying a hybrid and am gettingupwards to 63mpg, so my gas bill is less than what my internet bill is, and thats been downgraded and axed cable tv and phone service.
I got a few hundred back from my auto insurance company to boot.
I had bleeeding of the stomach from taking medical to keep my joint pain and arthridas under control. Seems there is no safe anti-inflimation medication out there. Good new if caught in time, they can shoot lasers in your stomach to seal it back up.
I found a dr who did it in out patient, but still had co pays, tests to pay and missed more than a month of work. I burned through my sick leave, vacation and time off unpaid.
Colon and appendix??? Short of cancer or major hemroids, not sure what can require that as a fix.
Man, you had a nice car. My Honda sucks when it comes to clubs, swag, etc. Worse of all Honda does not have the aftermarket support for the insight, nor factory or mugen support like toyota has trd. I like to dream about tricking it out, but nothing is available. Ive done the cheap stuff and labor intensive, but nothing exists.

I did remove the rear wiper, antenna, 35% tint all windows myself, used my hid kit from the scion, painted the engine cover. Best of all my payment is half what the xb was, but am sure down the road I am paying way more in interest.

PM me your medical stuff if you want my opinion. Ive lost at least 70lbs, 4 belt loops around my waist. I went from 5x to 2x shirts. I finally weigh less than 300lbs and my feet no longer hurt to walk. Best of all I can play the wii I bought my mother a year or so ago as the wii fit has a 300lb weight limit.
Being too fat to play video games is the ultimate insult.
