well im hating it because they are considering claiming my car as total damage.

ok, heres the senario (in short):

I was driving on clopper rd, its a 2 lane hwy each way. i was in the left lane. the guy had a 98 cr-v and cut me off and slammed on the brakes. he was in the middle of two lanes when the impact happened. so my passenger side front quarter panel and his driver side rear quarter panel impacted.

the sh*t is that we were on an uphill and my car got hit on such a key point that it took out the main engine wiring harness($1500 part + 16hours Labor) as well as the frame.

all this at the speed of 8-9mph. why were we going so slow- b/c there was an acc. on the oncoming side and i saw the guy watching the acc. (while he was on the phone).

the police was already there (cuz of the other accident) and they didn't assign any ticket/points to anyone.


so now: my damages are 4445.xx + harness(1500+16hr labor)
and they are saying that it may be in their best interest to total the car because the damages may be worth more than 75% of the car's value.

im sorry saurabh but ill take a few things i think...

 

ii seriously hate clopper road, i think the roads are bad and too narrow.. ii dont have much but whats your price for ur wheels nd tires? ii have stock tc wheels but no tires .. ii can trade you my steelies nd tires plus some cash if interested i'll shoot you my number
