Default Ourisman collision center Geico u will pay

Words cannot describe how negligent and incompetent this "shop" is. I am so infuriated I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

My car got broken into so I went to the drive in collision center at ourisman in bethesda behind montgomery mall. After I sent them an e-mail stating that I will not be pleased by a half a $ $ job their shop REFUSED to fix my car and instead cut me a check for the damages. They did however replace the broken window.

The check was missing bits of pieces. Hence I had to make the list and how much more money they owed me. Also never ending story they never checked my cut wires so now I have no wires for the plug in in the dah board but that's a lost cause cos I know they will not do jack now.

A week goes by and I am hearing weird noises and shaking. In the mean time I went to fizt for them to check my busted S/C. While there the dealership noticed there were window glass fragments in the panel that destroyed the window tabs.

So I go back to geico and they refuse to fix THEIR MISTAKE saying someone else broke the window tabs and it wasn't because of the glass fragments they forgot to take out in the first place.

I had to involve the regional geico person and I told him I had phone logs of when I called geico complaining about window noises (which was before fizt touched anything) so they couldn't put the blame on fizt. After a week of fightingt the window got "fixed" for the second time.

Before picking up the car I called the manager of the shop and told him to put my master key inside the car and put the car up front so i could come pick it up after hours with my spare key.

When I go there the car was not up front so the shop said they couldn't release the car because it was on the grounds of the shop still and not up front. I made them call that manager and the guy told them i was in the clear and that he forgot to put the car up front but that i could take the car.

The master key is not in the car so I call the shop again monday and talk to the manager, he asks sorry and that he will mail it out.

One week goes by, no key.

Two weeks go by, no key so I call. He forgot.

This was last tuesday. Friday comes and I still have no key. I call the shop and they assure me they sent out the key on tuesday. When I ask them for a tracking number they reply "oh no he just put it in regular envelope and in the mail box"

SO WHAT NOW? WHERE THE FUC K IS MY F U K I N KEY???? It's been over a week since they supposedly sent it out via REGULAR MAIL A MASTER KEY VIA REGULAR MAIL WITH NO TRACKING INFO. Now I don't know if its lost or not. And if someone has found it now they have my address AND my master key. What's to prevent them from coming to my place and stealing/breaking in my car again?!?!

I feel your pain with Geico. When my engine threw a rod driving home from the hospital, the dealer wouldn't cover it, saying the TRD intake sucked in water even though it wasn't raining. I then went to Geico because I had mechanical breakdown coverage for cases when the warranty wasn't covered. Well, mechanical said because the intake was aftermarket they wouldn't cover under the policy, EVEN though I had added the intake to it. They also said water wasn't covered under mechanical and would be picked up through comprehensive. Well, comprehensive said it was not water, but mechanical and wouldn't cover it either. So basically, Geico contradicted themselves to deny me coverage. I was through dealing with them and decided to just do a swap myself at no cost since I had a spare motor already. I will be dropping them next week.

Good luck with them, just keep going up the chain and hopefully someone will cover it.

I moved 7 miles and geico said my insurance went up 200 bucks. I switched to progressive who was the same price as my previous policy at geico.

Sorry to hear that, but in my experience, once a car is wrecked, it will never ever be the same.

vetterider - I am dropping them as soon as they do something about my stupid key. One way or another I will get something out of them. I'll prob have to involve my older sis who is a lawyer into it. I will def. report that so called shop to MD state and Better business bureau. Sorry to hear about your issues; I guess they are going to loose a lot more clients with these kinda issues.

Esurance FTW!

I've had terrible experiences with both Geico and State Farm... I hate insurance!

Brian really got d!ck'd... Claudia, hopefully it'll all work out for you, but I would talk to your sister, get the BBB involved if you have a case...

I for one have learned the hard way and watched others get screwed when you just except the crap some folks give you... always fight that ish!
