Hey guys, I am thinking about creating subforums for the larger metro areas... that would allow better communication between people inside the metro areas and clear up the main regional area for people from outside the metro areas to chat.

Please answer the poll so I can get a clear idea of which members are inside and outside the metro areas.

Please reply to the topic with your thoughts of which metro areas deserve subforums and whether or not you think it would be a good idea.

In all honesty.. I dont think its even worth the time Darren.. everyone in the MidAtl region all pretty much are familiar with each other and I personally dont mind the way it is.. change is good, but too much change isn't Just my opinion

There are some other regions that need it far more, but I wanted to get the opinions of the people inside of each region before I made any changes.

The only thing that I might change is the southern VA (Virginia beach) area. That is like another world away to the rest of this forum.

If you live in No VA, DC, Baltimore and their surrounding counties, you make up 95% of the posters here.

For now I am not changing anything... just getting an idea of your opinions.

I agree with BrianxB on this one too.. I guess there are some areas that maybe should remain the same, but I'm sure that there are parts of certain states that might be better merged with different regions.. example being the Va. Beach area.. I could see them more aligned with the Carolinas, etc.

Deffinetly hard for us southern VA people to be in with the NoVa MD people. Thats a 3 hour drive from here. SO any meets they have, are unrealistic for us. But there arent many people from down here that post regularly.

I'm letting this one go for a while guys before I make any changes. Just keep voting so I can make an accurate decision down the road.

i drive down to VA Beach every 2 weeks to go to meets so i don't think its that unrealistic. and it might not make a difference but its only 2 and a half hours, i would know.

It doesn't seem like there are any problems with communication in this forum, so I don't think I am going to create a subforum. Everything is running fairly smoothly and the lack of much response tells me that no one is very passionate about divying up the topics between two forums.

As for moving part of a state into another region... thats tough. Once we start trying to draw lines through states, etc, then it gets way more complicated when new people try to figure out what is going on.
