scion autocross/road rally and show
I've just been given word that we are officially in the early stages of planning a scion specific autocross event with corresponding show and possible a road rally depending on the number of person attending.
*Date and location are yet to be finalized but I'm expecting it to be either at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick or there is a slim chance it may even end up being held at the Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point. And soemtime in the second half of the summer or early-mid fall.
If Summit becomes the location clearly the event would be a time attack and not an autocross and we would be sure to have summit instructors on hand for those who would like to run their car. There would be no wheel to wheel racing involved and for insurance purposes we would likely not even have multiple cars on track even if in different segments. The detail on cars in different segments would be ironed out if Summit does in fact become the location. I can tell you all first hand the the box is a blast to drive on Jefferson and it is not tippy on course. xA and tC drivers should definitely enjoy the course as well.
We're also still open to other location options in southern and central PA, the philadelphia/ southern jersey area, anywhere in maryland and northern virginia.
We have some VERY special sponsors tentatively lined up for the event (hopefully the date will work for all of them) and there may even be a special guest driver or two. And a special event and prizes for the best stock xb, stock xa, stock tc time, N/A xb, N/A xa, N/A tc times and for the best times set by each forced induction car as well.
If you want to be added to interest list and be just up to date on further plans on the date and location let me know. Also would mods please post this in the autosports and northeast regional forum as well. Thanks in advance

summit still may be in the cards, but we may have an in for use of a location for a laaaarge lot through toyota that would also have tons of space for a show field (maybe even an indoor show portion). If summit happens though "the shootout" portion actually won't be as special I can say that much for now
I'm really excited to be working on this project

pricing will be determined, if it ends up being summit unfortunately there would likely end up being a charge. The large lot the I've wanted to use for an event that seems like it may be available now would likely be free. Ripken stadium is likely out of the question due to cost of the venue
