Stu, I need you to put something together for all of us to meet before we enter the show on Sat. Also, I need everyone to tell me what they want for NOPI, decals (color), shirts (if you don't have one, let me know, one per person). If you can think of anything else, let me know, nothing outrageous.

Yeah, i'm talking with my boyz daily trying to plan some cool stuff out... i've got a few things in mind... i'll give everyone the finalized plan/ directions in a few days or so! :D

Hmmm... A turbo would be nice... Well if my package doesn't come, i'd like a shirt and hat possibly. I'm also thinking who is going to bring a tent so we have somewhere to chill/ cook out also? Beer? i know there is cooler restrictions, but the scions have plenty of space?

I will supply the tent. I will get like a 10'x10', should be big enough, unless I can find a deal on one bigger. I will bring a couple extra chairs too.

 

Everyone definetly bring a chair... after a while, sitting in your vehicle sucks... I know! Hopefully the tent thing shouldn't be that big of a problem.. so me and Tavis will figure that out...

 

i will also be bringing an 8x8 canopy tent. the more tents the marrier. will allow us to bring grills and stuff? never been just figured i would ask.

 

I am going to bust into the MD thread for a second to say that Chip (BIg Hungry) is also planning to bring a 10 x 10. Also for those who have been, what is allowed in with you if you are a contestant? Tavis have you gotten your stuff from Nilo or Adrian yet to take down there? I am waiting on my package and Nilo told me he was going to throw in some shirts, hats, stickers, etc. from Scion Corp. to take down there. What about the banner, any news on it??

 

I'm still waitin for everything. I haven't talked to Nilo lately with work and everything being pretty hectic. I will try to get ahold of him tomorrow since I have the day off. As far as the banner, I am going to get one made either next week, or the week before Nopi. It will be done though by then.

 

What idea do you have for the banner? It looks like it will just be MD and Memphis, some VA? Chicago has BOTI that same weekend so I don't blame them and Miami doesn't want to drive up or something... Oh well we can still make it great.

 

I think that those tents that just have the roof... i believe is the canopy tent... would be great... about one or two of those just to block the sun. And i'm looking into the little grill thing and the regulations on the coolers, i know last year you could only have soo much stuff. But i'll look into that as well.

 

I am getting a banner with the SE logo and Scion Evolution written underneath. With just 2 of the chapters mainly going to be there, it's pointless to put all chapters underneath as well.

 

I agree, how many are coming from VA? How many do you think ya'll have coming?

I believe they mean that since ScionLife runs off of donations and things of that sort that one should understand that SE runs off of these membership dues. We have no dealerships backing us.

I know im in for a SE MD chapter. i know of another person in sliver spring MD thats probably interested too. ive been waiting for a solid, stand-up car club to recognize that the scion community has a strong bond between the owners and it should be utilized to EVERYONE'S advantage. thanks!
