Scion Presents Show of Champions: TODAY

Concept: Central Atlantic Toyota along with Scion of Glen Burnie, Miller Scion, Koons Annapolis Scion, and one other dealer from PA which will be announced ASAP will pull together to throw a first ever multi dealership/manufacturer car show in the hopes of breaking new ground and setting a record.

The Goal: To set a documented world record gathering of Scion Owners...to be successful we have an overly optimistic goal set in the 1000 vehicle participant range.

Where: Capital Raceway in Crofton, MD.

When: Sunday August 3rd

The track has been rented and everything is in motion the only thing that is missing is you guys. We have the track/grounds for the day so lets make the most of it and have a great show. Entry is going to be free but If you would like to race there will be a small fee to pay to cover insurance cost on Capital Raceway's part (who will be running the track).

Ok, here is some BIG news to hopefully overshadow some somewhat bad news, Chris Rado WILL be there signing autographs and he'll have his tC there for everyone.. the poker run however is in fact cancelled due to some issues, but do not dispair folks!

This event is still going to be hoppin! 6 Pro-Mod cars are going to rip up the 1320 and 2 SIX SECOND tC's will be there doing it up as well!

Gates are opening at 10AM and this thing is going down until the sun goes down! DJ and bands aren't wrapping up until around 6 or 7!

So please keep spreading the word to everyone you see in a Scion and Toyota, let them know about this event, it's one show for 2008 that really is set to make some faces smile!

I can't stress how HUGE this event is going to be. And it's not just because I'm going to be there

. Seriously, there's other cool stuff too!

This is a big deal because it is very difficult to get 4 seperate dealerships to come together and unite. There are alot of hoops to jump through, so we are very excited to be able to put this show on. Many more details to come!!

Awesome, I'm going to make sure Maryland Scikotics are on line with the event... there are several NOMD and SOMD members that will be taking part in this... looks like it'll be a great show.

There will be much more to the show but there is a lot of work that will still need to go into this so info will be released as everything is confirmed. If there is anything you guys wan't or need let us know and we will see if we can make it happen!!!!

Nice Zach. You probably tried to use the Bat Signal and it didn't work so you were thrown off. It's cool though, I'll see you up at the show.

This should probably replace the Springfeild show as a sticky... this needs to be a priority for all East Coast owners!

Club leadership, make sure you are posting this thread to your respective forums, this should be in every club forum, stretching all over the place... I'm sure any loyal Scion owner and enthusiast would want to take place in this event!

These dealerships and Scion Champions are working hard to give us new and cutting edge shows, it's only right to thank them with participation from all facets of the Scion community! I would imagine ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated too!
