free to get in $5 (to cover insurance costs) to run on the track.

Okay Stu......now why don't you give us some more details about all the exciting stuff that's going to be going on at this event?
I know a few things, but you've been there since the beginning!

Lets see.......30 awards will be given out. I hear that you, Larry, had a lot to do with the design of those awards.

One of the awards will be for the Most Enthusiastic Owner....so bring all your Scion Gear and show it off!!!

Another will be for the most Unique Scion.

$5 and the signing of the insurance waiver will let you race all day.

For and extra $10 you can participate in the "Gambler's Race" (bracket racing) ....winner takes all.

There will be tons of goodies given away.
Food will not be provided, but there will be concession stands and you can bring coolers with stuff to munch on and drink. (no alcohol)

I do not want to take any credit for this, this event was the idea of you guys and gals [Scion Champions], and made possible for everyone by a few different funders...

I'm glad that things have shaped up so nicely, and I really only have one thing to say, everyone have fun and please break the Scion social norm at this thing... it's time as a community we come together and really take this thing to another level!

Show your appreciation to fellow owners and the folks that are responsible for hosting these events!

All the areas have been covered for the most part, 30 awards, 3 Pro-Mods and 2 six second tC's will be there, some live band action, DJ's, Chris Rado, $5 to drag! You name it, it's pretty much there!

See you guys on Sunday! I know I'm stoked!

Stop by the Koons Tent and I will be having a SUMO WRESTLING TOURNAMENT. That's right, in honor of Charles and my trip to Japan, I will have the sumo suits and the ring set up, as well as a sign up sheet. I will have more details on time and rules before Sunday, but there will be Prizes for 1st Place and Runner Up..............

DJ Impulse on the 1's and 2's throughout the day as well, it will be a GREAT Time!!!!

You are correct in saying that tango, Larry has done alot to get the word out and has given some really great suggestions.

As far as the awards go here is the list so every one will know what to expect!!!!

We have everything as far as the car show broke down into best there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for show for xA, xB 1st and 2nd gen, xD, and tC.

Also for thoes that are racing there will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd place for the fastest time of the day for xA, xB 1st and 2nd gen, xD, and tC.

Other awards will be:

Most Enthusiastic Owner: who has the most scion gear tattoo what ever, show us what you got

Best of show: that will be left up to the judg and there scoring cards

Most outrageous or unique scion: Will be looking for something diffrent on there car that no one else has or can purchace.

Best Non factory paint job: It can be a factory color but the car must have a after market kit, or be a diffrent color than it was form the factory to enter this.

Best Themed Car: Tell the judges what you were going for and how you pulled it off!!

And the most Important award of them all PEOPLE'S CHOICE: IT WILL BE UP TO YOU AND YOUR VOTE TO CHOSE THE DESERVING SCION OWNER THAT RECIEVES THIS AWARD.

So if my math is correct that will be 30 awards.

NOW for the gamblers race

RULES:
$10 seperate entry fee
Anyone in a scion, toyota, lexus, promod, or pre approved car can enter.
This will be a bracket race where you will be racing your own time that YOU predetermin. WINNER WILL GET $1000 CASH 2ND WILL GET $200 CASH.
This will be a unique oppertunity where we could potentally se a 17sec xB race a 8sec supra and win. ALL TRACK RULES STAND CAR MUST PAS TEC INSPECTION.
