man, I didn't know that....sorry to hear about it (got pulled over for my tint as well, I just payed the ticket and kept it moving)

 

yeah i have to pay 60 for the ticket 60 to get my tint rmoved to get the ticket signed off on and the i can get legal tint put back on at no charge with the warrenty i paid for so it could have been worse but whatever at least i didnt get hit with an extended exhaust or whatever it was that break away got

 

ah yes... my good old "extended exhaust" that cracked me up... but it passed, but i had some people that were gonna let me borrow a stock exhaust in the event that i didnt get it passed (dave you were one of them, ty lol)

 

whats extended exhaust?

 

break away aka zach has the draxas aftermarket exhaust on his car and the cop that pulled him over for speeding out of a parking spot said he had an extended exhaust

it wasnt extended it was just after market if you were to look at it you wouldnt think anything of it unless you seen a stock one next to it

 

So does extended mean it sticks out too far past the bumper? Are they afraid pedestrians might burn their leg as they walk by?

basically when i got pulled over, the cop nailed me for tint and an "extended exhaust". an extended exhaust is ILLEGAL it is comes out pass the bumper after so many inches. I have the draxas exhaust, which is a legal system in MD, and the tip comes to the same point of the TRD exhaust. the cop just wanted to be a fool and give me a repair order

 

dam thats f'd up. so cops can hassle me for my trd exhaust? its from the dam dealer how can they tell me to repair it?

 

if they want to, they can. a friend of mine got a ticket for his TRD exhaust being too loud, it passed of course, but its a waste of time

i got pulled over a few weeks ago for speeding, and the cop slapped a tint ticket on me too.. a freakin 87 dollar fine. bastard

 

thats cuz your in VA, and they suck!!!!
