As the title says I have two sets of 18" aluminum wheels I'm trying to get rid of. One is damaged, but repairable, figure the repair costs would be greater than what the value of the rims are. The other set is not repairable from a crack in one rim. I'm wondering if there is a place in MD that will buy used wheels like these, or a scrapyard that would want the aluminum. Thanks for any info

 

There are scrapyards that will take them, I'm just not sure where in your area. I recently took a set of batteries to one here in St. Mary's county, and they also accept rims, wire, and even engine blocks provided the fluids have been drained. Check the yellow pages for recycling.
