Well, where do you guys in Maryland go to get dynoed. I live in Harford County and have NO idea where any shops with a dyno are located. I'd like to run a baseline before I begin boosting over summer...

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I'm Zach. I work in harford county (bel air) and live in baltimore county. Are you interested in a scion club?

and to answer your question, I would recommend going to Ptuning in Northern VA. Its about an hour and a half drive, but well worth it.

i used to reccommend p-tuning, but they refused to compensate me for the damages my tc suffered on behalf of their faulty labor and will continue to boycott them until they either refund what they charged me and compensate me for damages to my tc. but the way things are going, it looks like i am going to have to force it outta them.

Damages? I've been there multiple times and the only screw up they ever made was leaving my engine cover off after a tune. They called me about three hours later and mailed it out the next day at their cost.

Oh, they did also forget to re-install my tail silencer after a different dyno pull but that was immediately noticeable as I drove out of the parking area

Are you looking for just a pull or also for a tune? It shocks and amazes me how there is no tuner or dyno within 50 miles of MIR, does every local racer here get by on redneck engineering or is it just not neccessay on a carbaurated tune?

Ehh, if I had more time I'd be interested, but college has me tied down right now. Not to mention all I have to show in my car right now is a new HU and half my sound system lol

I'll get back to you in the future though.

@redrum, why do you get your car tuned for the seasons? Just curious...

I know that, but they did do a lot of Honda stuff back then when they had their shop in Timonium, they always had Honda dyno days.

Oh! lol are u the guy that said ur gear went bad cause of the clutch install? There is no transmission work involved when installing a clutch. When someone installs a clutch, the trans is removed then put back so if your gear went, that's not an install issue that's the transmission itself. PM me if you want more insite.

I recomed PTUNING 100% it's worth the drive. The dyno is dead on and the tuner Toan is awsome. Customer service is excellent.

no, it was the installation of the LSD that caused my 5th gear synchronizer to break. i can't break my own 5th gear synchro, no tc, no matter how powerful can break it's own 5th gear synchronizer, only a botched lsd installation could be responsible.
