Default Window scratches, ugh

So there are some scratches on my driver window and rear window. The ones on the driver window are what I care about the most since I see them the most, they are a good number of them and they are about the size of a dvd case in area. All of these scratches I CAN NOT feel with my fingernail.

I have tried calling around to local glass places but they say is that the glass has to be replaced. Which confused me because I see things like this
http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?i...emType=PRODUCT which makes me think i should be able to repair it without replacing the glass.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows a solution.
