I finally decided to get my windows tinted. I live in Alexandria, VA and today I stopped by LA Tint on RT 1. I was told I'd pay anywhere from $250 to $289 to get my '06 xA done. I'm thinking there has got to be somewhere else I could go for a more reasonable price. I searched the forums and saw some recommendations but was wondering which places people would recommend for around $200 to $250 max which is what I intend to spend. I'd be willing to pay more if it is common consensus that the work/quality is worth the price but the guy at the front desk at LA Tint didn't seem too interested in my business.

Stay away from LA Tint. They have a bad reputation, and won't honor the warranty unless you get the VA state legal tint.

I'd go with Sapan's recco. If you don't mind going up to MD, you'll get a lot better deal and they will honor the warranty.

Got mine done at Winners In Annapolis. Front two are $89 front two plus front windshield strip $114

 

oh, the audio ppl are garbage but the tint lady is good. she did my old tc. read up on different types of film before you get it done at a cheapo place.

Winners used 3m tint computer cut... Perfect fit and low low price. Looks sweet, cant open my windows for another day and a half though....

I would try fresh designs in College park they have been in business for at least 10 years they have done all my cars and he charged me 150 for the TC. They also have life time warranty

 

There's a place in Arlington that does it for about 150-180$
