hey all.. my b/f took my tC to fill the tank up for me last night and said he talked to a guy with a Yellow tC. Apparently his had been SSM (like mine), and he got sick of all the paint chipping off it and had it painted yellow. It had anthracite Axis Hiro rims with the silver polished lip. He said he posted on Scion forums (but not on SL?). Does anyone know this guy or what forums he posts on? I'd love to be able to see some pics of his car.. I still have yet to see a real yellow tC in person and think it would look really hot with the anthracite Hiro's. Thx all!!

yeah apparently he said it was a really nice shade of yellow.. i think he said he'd taken it straight from the VW Golf's. If that's the case it probably looked hella nice.. which is why I wanna see it so badly!! Why is it I always miss the cool stuff when I'm not driving my car? lol.

well.. if you'd read the post you'd realize that's why I made the post. To ask around and see if anyone knows the guy and/or has seen his tC. Since he apparently posts on several online forums I figured it'd be worth a try to ask around. Sorry not trying to be rude, but that was kinda a silly question.

im in sterling all day and never seen the yellow tc before... only thing out of hte ordinary ive seen in sterling is a white tc witha body kit and lots of decals on his car.

 

im sure its not driven that much, since no one has seen it...till now

 

hm either that or he just recently had it painted. that may also be the case. he said he was really fed up with the front of his tC looking like crap (I know, I have the same color he did before, SSM), and, as in my case too, Scion refused to do anything about it so he just had it painted somewhere in Falls Church. Might look into that too b/c apparently he paid a little over a grand and the paintjob looked super nice.

i have chips on my bumper for a reason
alot of highway driving, alot of track racing
since my car is for auto-x, no point in painting it...i was going to get a new bumper
and just swap them out when i wanted, but then id have to buy another splitter

 

Hmm...I haven't seen a yellow tC in the area, but now I will keep a look out...sounds interesting to say the least.

 

i wonder who it is......
