I changed my CAI back to my stock box and Borla filter when i noticed the bracket on top of the motor mount that the box bolts to was broken. WTF? I had a squeak and couldnt find it and that was it, it still squeaks while i have the box on now. Should i take it to toyota or JB Weld it back in place??????????????

 

dude your have a car maybe 2 years old.... take it to toyota first... JB weld is for those xBs hahaha jk guys! but yeah i would take it to toyota

 

I thought about Toyota but I had my intake on when i had it serviced last week and they might know that the intake may have broken it. Im worried they may try to fight me on wether to fix it or not.

 

well dude its not a bad price to fix it if im not mistaken... plus what can they tell you.... the worse then can say is Well we cant cover that under warrenty! Its worth a shot, or take it to another dealership?

 

I know most the times when I go to the dealership its always a different person, so chances are they wont know you ever had a CAI in there.
