Caravan to Exposed from KY
I know there is a thread about the event, but I am waondering if anyone from Louisville, KY or surrounding areas want to caravan to Exposed. I believe we are leaving in the early morning since it isn't that bad of a drive. We are leaving from LaGrange, KY which is on 71 towards Cincy. We can meet up and have breakfast at Cracker Barrel if anyone is interested.
I will be leaving Friday to head up to the show from Memphis. I am going to camp out Friday and Saturday night. Otherwise, I would meet up with you guys. I guess I will just have to see you there.

Grr...I know there are more people from KY and surrounding areas that are going.
I just hope the idiots from last year don't show up and block the whole middle section making it impossible to move around.
Hey Jethro, we will have one of those easy up tents if you want to bring chairs.

We'll have our chairs and a canopy and our tent to camp in. Thanks Bro!
You'll also get to meet my wife Joanie. She's coming.
With as many people that are expected. I'm sure that sort of blockage will not be allowed. I doubt they will be that stupid again. I just hope they have enough room for this many vehicles. I absolutely refuse to be crammed together like sardines. Not Gonna Happen!

I'm hoping to be there this year with my stock xB, just for the fun of camping & hangin out.
Can anyone tell me what the campgrounds are like there at the track? How were they last year with the rain? Portable shower facilities? I'm leaving at 5pm, so hopin to book there to setup the tent before it gets -too- dark (breaks out lanterns).
Goin over Sunday to the old defunct Mansfield State Reformatory to take the tours. A VERY good movie was filmed there.
Here's a hint:
In 1966, Andy Dufresne escaped from ______ prison. All they found of him was a muddy set of prison clothes, a bar of soap, and an old rock hammer, darn near worn down to the nub. I used to think it would take six-hundred years to tunnel under the wall with it. Old Andy did it in less than twenty...

Remember that my crew from Detroit is also coming. Louisville,Memphis and Detroit and some from Chicago too may be hangin together.
I hope the weather forcast improves. They are calling for 30% chances of T-Storms all 3 days.

In 2003 I camped with my motorcycle in the regular vast camping fields, which had portable toilets scattered around. Near the entrance there were big semi-trailer toilets with sinks and showers.
In 2004 when BMW was the featured marque at Vintage Days Mid-Ohio, I administered reserved camping in the infield forest for the vintage BMW club, and there was a toilet building nearby but I can't remember if those buildings had showers. The Scion Exposed camping at 16 looks like it's reserved in the infield, but the forest is around 8 and 17. If I go, I might sleep in the car.
Champ Row 10 along the track is a long gravel parking lot where the 500+ Scions will probably be parked. If any sleeping is done in the car, I wonder if it will be there. I expect the 100 free camping spaces represents the ability of the drives in the forested area to absorb cars.
