I need a GOOD detail shop around Raleigh...
I'm not looking for something for my wife's Scion, as I have a black C6 Corvette that I am looking to get detailed. I've posted at the Vette board, but haven't had a good reply. I post here for stuff related to my wife's car and you guys have been helpful so I thought I'd see if anyone knows of a really GOOD detail shop in the area.
I keep excellent care of my car, but anyone with black knows it's impossible to keep the swirls from building up over time. They aren't anything major and 9 out of 10 people would say I'm too **** about it but oh well, I'm that 1 guy who can't stand them.
I've tried using a random polisher myself with decent results in removing the swirlage, but only a circular buffer is going to really remove them and I'm not professional enough to tackle that myself.
So my question is does anyone know of a killer detail shop in the Raleigh area that could help remove the spider webbing/swirls that naturally build up over time? I'm hoping to find a shop that can do it every 6 months or so. That way it will look near pefect for an extra couple months out of the year and I can maintain it myself between then...
And obviously, I'm not looking for some run of the mill joint that uses rags lying around on the floor or whatnot. I need a top notch detail shop that knows what they are doing and uses top products and tools...if they know what Zaino is that would be great!
Thanks!
Here's a quick detail pic of the swirls up close...they torment me!
