Default I think im selling the tC

I dont know...im just not as happy with my car as i thought I would be. Everything is cool with it except for the noises i get out of it...I have a creaky sunroof, some weird noise in the dash, I think the speaker is loose in the right front, and the hatch is noisy. Its really aggravating and embarraasing...I have this great looking car and it sounds like ____ on the inside. Driving it is fun, but if i can get a beater that doesnt make noise, im much happier with that than i am with driving the new nB around.....nB = noise Boxx

try to talk me out of it b/c i am close. once i get this house im thinking of getting rid of it. i know i cant ride up to the meets in a dodge charger!

I would step up and get a man's car...the XB!!!! ...seriously I would make the dealer fix all the rattles without exception and then see how you feel about it...still can't beat it for the value....then go to ZPI.......

Well I cant argue with you about the noise.. but its an inexpensive car man.. some of that money they save on dampening.. I was totally supprised that the xb has just carpet on metal. My plan is to Dynamat (or equivalent) the inside.. If you're into projects it might be fun for you to rip the interior out and dynamat.

thats your best bet. plus the car is still under warranty. warranty is your friend. I only have 10,000 miles of it left

Best thing to do is use up the warranty and then sell the car.

yeah, i was thinking about dynamatting the whle interior but that would be damn expensive. I dont know if Im willing to drop that much loot on it. I am definately going to be putting that thing in the shop once I get moved. Ill be right down the road from the dealership. until then, i gotta worry about trying to get the house.

moving to Concord....ill be down Weddington road a little ways. Moving in with the lady.

I want to trick the tC but its definately not a good investment, especially if I continue to have problems with it. If I hold onto it after the warranty is up, I will definately begin doing stuff. I dont want to be the only stocker at the meets!

I'd take it to the dealer and make them try and fix the problems. If the creaks and rattles are bad enough you want to sell it, they aught to try and help. I think there are a few TSBs on the rattles and creaks anyway.

If you're really unhappy with the tC and you can afford to trade it for something else, then you should.
