Are there any Memphis folks in here? Anyone know of any scion meets in the area anytime soon? Are there any good shops in town for tC mods?? Thanx!

 

I dont know where everyone is at but there are several around your area . and welcome to the scion world from the east side of tn.

 

I am in Memphis. I work at Covington Pike Scion and helped start the Memphis Chapter of Scion Evolution. We do not have our next meet planned yet. I will let you know when it is though. As for a place to get good mods at, you can go to Xtreme on Stage because there are at least 2 guys that work there that have Scions. One of them is Kevin McHone and he has a tC also. If you are ever in my area, stop by and say hey. I am always looking to meet new people.

 

I think i almost bought a car from you. You didnt have any automatics in stock though so i had to go to performance toyota. im sure i will be in there for one of my free oil changes soon. Yeah Ive been to Xtreme but i wasnt real impressed. They really know what they are talking about but they are expensive and slow. I had to wait 6 hrs for them to put on some neons. What is Scion Evolution? Hopefully that isnt a stupid question. sorry if it is lol

 

I can vouch for Xtreme as well, my sister is friends with the family that owns the store, they live in our neighborhood, and do great work.

 

I ask everybody this that is new from Memphis. What is your name, where did you get your tC and who was the sales person, and what color is it?

Hey everybody... I was just stopping by to see if there were any new / interesting posts. I know I've kinda dropped off the face of the planet this year, but moving, having a baby and work have all had me pretty busy. It's good to see everyone still getting together when you have the chance.

Hey, I just wanted to let yall know that I was in Memphis last week on bidness, and had contacted Thomas just to see if anything was going on that weekend. He invited me to stop by and was very hospitable to me. I know I took up way more of his time than he had to give, but he sure gave me the 50 cent tour!
So, if the Scion family up there is just half as friendly as this one person, yall have a great group going on! With any luck my next trip will time right with one of yall's get togethers!

Definately. When would you like to do one or do you just want to wait for that show in April? I am up for whatever and most of the time whenever.

 

A stand alone....Mid May sounds good. There are 2 shows scheduled for the 15th of April and I am afraid the pool of folks would be diminished. If there is no other game in town, we will have a bigger turn out.

 

That works for me and I will make sure to get the Memphis crew there. Where would you like to do it? Do you want to try for Nashville? We could even go a little south of Nashville to make it more convenient for you since that would probably be closer for us too.
