Hey everyone. I'm currently looking for full time jobs in the NC and SC areas and I was wondering if I were to relocate, how much auto-enthusiast action takes place in this region? Do you guys have a lot of shows, events, clubs, etc? I'm from upstate, NY and there's almost nothing up here. I'm just hoping there's more action down around your way!

 

The Carolina's are problley the second or third best place in the country for car events.

There isn't alot of scion activity, but lots of shows and racing. Only places that may be better are So-Cal and Florida. But their are alot of serous car people here. Tuners, Domestics, Trucks, classics and Bikes are all huge here. We even go to the beach in the winter and freeze are asses off for a car show.

Thanks for the info spider..that's good news. Sciond, I went to school in Rochester, and my hometown is right at the southern tip of Seneca Lake.

wooo im from rockland county. you can find a job fairly easy in the Triangle, (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) or the triad. (Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem)

those links are pretty good. i try to make most of the Drop Jaw events. might find my car in a few. i always make Winter Cruize in February and try to make Freak Show.

i live on the beach (wilmington NC.) im about an hour north of Myrtle Beach

 

I will be in Rockland soon..gonna see my parents in Pomona

 

just left there last week. everything is the same. nothing changed. they opened a new diner on 303 in Orangeburg. and thats mainly it.

the Palisades Mall is still crap. and parking still sucks

the Nanuet mall is struggling to stay open. their is nothing in their but sears and the food court basically.

what do you drive up there?

 

yep gonna take the box.....geez I grew up going to the Nanuet mall...that and the Spring Valley Flea market..I am gonna stop by the Rockland bakery,,,,,,

 

i forgot to do that when i was up there. i remember the mall before the Boscov wing. now their is nothing in that wing.

but White Castle is still there, and for the 4 days i was up, i must have had like 40+ white castles :-)

 

haha bringing back memories of home fellas. im from yonkers but spent a lot of time up there. Spring Valley car meets ahahaha.

back to the post. ya i head up a chapter of scioncustoms here in charlotte. when do you expect to be coming down here. also, if you dont mind, what do you do?
