Default My quest for speed continues.....yet another new *vehicle*..

Do no be alarmed. No i haven't traded in for another car. Still have the turbo Neon (SRT-4). Say what you will, it's still a solid compact rocket IMO. What i've just now purchased is something i've been wanting to get into for a while.......just never had the ka-hu-na's to do so. Things have changed. Scroll Down for pics:

2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250R

Granted its only a 250cc (248cc actually), this booger will go, and i haven't even exceeded 4,000RPMS yet!!! Break in sucks--> 0-500 recommended not to exceed 4k rpms, and 500-1000 not to exceed 6k rpms.

Anywho, this is a great starter bike!! Being a beginner myself, you can take my word for it!! Before the day before yesterday i had never sat on a bike, let alone any idea of how the heck to drive it! 1 hour later, in my yard, i'm driving it around like it's nothing!! Yesterday got my motorcycle permit and have been burning up the roads here in my neighbor hood trying to get comfortable with the bike.

Anyone looking more into the bike this is a must see:

MSRP $2,999

Nice. A 250 is a bit small, but still looks like fun. And yes, it would be a good beginner bike. Not to expensive that you would kick your own **** if you dropped it, and not too powerful that you will kill yourself the first time you give it a little "too much" throttle.

Nice.

my dream bike is a 2003 ( i think ) Honda CBR 954RR Fireblade

but ill start something small one day. my gf doesnt want me on a bike so i have to reason with her somehow.......

I just got a 2002 Yamaha YZF R6 for $4,500, let me know what you think! I had a friend just buy the 2007 Kawasaki 250R even the same color and he loves it.

She's hot! How many miles on her?? How experienced are you on a bike? I for the longest time looked at a Honda CBR600 but was told by soooooo many people to get a cheap small cc bike for a starter. Reason i went with the 250. Josh is right though. After a while i'm sure i'll sell the 250R and find a 600.

I have just rolled it over 9,000 miles which isnt bad for a 2002. I first got a motorcycle last year (crusier bike) and that bike is currently in the shop so I went out and bought this one. You are definitely going to want a a bigger bike by the end of summer because I have a 600 and I already want a 750, 900, or even a 1000cc bike. Have fun on the 250R and be safe!
