Now i knew when i bought this car my f riends would sit their and make fun of it and so on so i was preparred they started calling it names like Box (of course) juicebox shoebox ceral box but when i was at work one day i went out to my xB and grab this months scion book to show one of my co-workers the xA speedster well i work at sonic BTW well when i got to the door a lady stop me and said im sorry sir but i happen to seen yur car over their may i ask waht kind of VAN is that my mouth just drop lol i didnt say a word i was like how do u get a VAN out of an xB well she thought it was a newer version of the Astro van when i got back inside i started to look at it and it does in a way look like a smaller version of it i guess but waht are some werid names ppl have called yur xB xA or tC

 

When I first got my XB RS 2.0, the wife called it a Short Bus. When I drove it on "The Tail of the Dragon", it was called "Sponge Bob Square Box " see www.killboy.com April section of photos.
If I wanted to be like everyone else, I would still have my GMC truck, or a Honda, or any other vehicle you see thousands of each and every day. It's good to be different.

 

Well I believe in Japan the BB is called a "mini box van" which is a very accuracte description.

Somoene here on the forums called the xB an "angry toaster". My grandmother called it a milk delivery truck. That really shows her age. My 2 great aunts made some reference to Mandrake the Magician about it, I still dont get that one. My colleagues at work simply call it a "box".

 

Toaster. I saw a sticker on one that had a pic of a toaster next to a pic of an xB and below them it stated "Seperated at Birth".

there's actually one running around with a tag that says SHRTBUS. Made me laugh :D

But I call mine Vixen. I've always named my cars...guess i'm a bit eccentric, huh?

Hey ive hear a lot of those names but i the official name of mine is the green machine but i call it simply "xbox". Carboard box or toaster are most common and ive even heard washing machine.

 

My co-worker calls it a cereal box

My boss calls it my lil' hot rod

My friend calls it a truck

And the other day while leaving Best Buy some a-hole yelled "It's a minivan!" from his giant Suburban! That one ____ed me off. Your driving a 20 passenger beast and your going to call my xB a minivan! Whatta j@ck@$$

 

well, its the price you pay to wanting to be different.. i just take it and throw it back at them i'm pretty quit witted so its not hard for me to pop back off, but here in tn, rednecks are the majority... so u almost always can pop off a redneck joke back at them to really set the flame on fire.

 

My all time favorite is just "Toaster". I even have a Toaster Pilots Association" sticker.

I was driving on the interstate several months back and pulled beside a white Astro van, it looked a lot like my Polar White xB, so I rolled down the window and screamed "DADDY?!!"

True story, fortunately he wasn't carrying a gun. I got myself so tickled I did it again a few days later with my gf in the car. She said she would drive from then on.

 

I've heard the term "XBox" floating around, I think that's actually kinda cool to call it an XBox.

 

Yes, they do look like little UPS vans...however, as of yet, they don't come in brown :p And no, the new penny color for the 4.0 doesn't count.

 

Toaster? More like Slowster! I heard that at a show.
