Hey all wanted to see if everyone would be up for meeting again, say Sat August 5th. I have added some options for where to meet, maybe this time grab some dinner or something. If you have other suggestions please be sure to share!

 

I liked the Parthenon. Parking downtown is a pain plus I don't like leaving the xB unattended for long at a mall or restaurant.

What about at the Beamans or Rivergate. Do they have an area we could take over for awhile? Maybe bring chairs and Have pizza delivered. Party in the parking lot. Just throwing it out there.

I choose Opry Mills because there is plently of parking and we could park in an area where people won't ding our cars. I've seriously had it with dumb ___ people dinging my car.

It's also close to our home. I know it sounds selfish but having a kid really puts a damper on our social life. So we kind of need to stick near home.

However, if you guys decide else where I won't get bent out of shape or anything.

Maybe I can put my new wheels on, and replace my mirror by then.

 

That's actually a pretty good idea. However I suspect that both of those dealerships are hard pressed for space.

Well, being that these meets are NEVER at a good time..j/k We will not be able to attend this meeting either. We will be picking up the tC FINALLY! (let's all pray now!) What time are you thinking about having this get together?

 

Acutally, just going to go ahead and cancel it.....did not get much response so we will try and work something out with one of the dealers........OH yeah you tell Travis then no more posts about "Slow Starts"

Hey if anyone is still interested in trying to meet this Sat here is the email I got back from the Glenn at Rivergate Scion dealer:

"Hey Brian I talked with the GM and you are more than welcome to use the dealership this weekend. What we were thinking was something around 6pm Saturday night, we are willing to provide pizza for the club and you are also welcome to use our meeting room upstairs for the meeting. Get back to me today and give me an idea of how many people will be attending ie how many cars so we can work out parking etc etc.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP if you are interested in doing this so that I can give Glenn a yes or no.

 

Hey everyone, well we are just going to go ahead and cancel for this Saturday. The turn out was kind of low, and it was very short notice. I think what we will do is just plan of getting together at the Beaman event on the 27th then we can plan future events from there.

Sorry for all the confusion....LOL

 

Is the Beaman meet in August or Sept. ? I can't remember.
