Last night was definitely the ____...no doubt about it. Not only did the Nashville Sciko's sweep the awards, the corporate Scion guys seemed to be pretty impressed with our club chapter as well as the enthusiasum everyone of our members displayed for their vehicles.
Never having been to any sort of manufacturer sponsored event before I had no idea of what to expect and all I can say is that I can't imagine anyone else doing it better.
As B mentioned everyone walked away with a Bag-O-Swag, and if you presented your car on owners alley you got a DVD of you doing your presentation for a keepsake...along with a hat and I'm still trying to figure out the thing with the orange fuzzy dice....maybe my cats will play with them.
The food was good, driving the new XB was kind of a bust for me because the guy that I got to drive with didn't want me to drive fast.....however I think he's still cleaning his shorts from when Tracy took the wheel, I know we could still smell the rubber when we exited the car. Brandon and I can attest that the "Oh ____" handles in the back seat area are VERY functional....even on the prototype.
The party following it was a lot of fun even though it was on the West (Trendy) End of town. Once everyone was good and liquored up the fun really started and good time was had by all.
Here's some pics taken entering the club and inside.
The Scion Logo was a light shining on the sidewalk outside the club.
Here's some of the Nashville Crew from Left to Right: Matt, Rob, Patrick, Brian, Woody, Mickey, Glen (Rivergate Toyota Scion Mngr) Tracy, Misti, Travis & Omar
It's early Woody...why do you look hammered?!??!?
Woody and Rob cuttin' up....Misti looks awful surprised in the back there...what's Trav doing with his other hand?!?!?!?
Stephan Haag Scion Corporate Manager and Glen. It was really great to meet the guys from Scion...they're a great bunch!
The silliness continues.......
This kept flashing on the wall...this would so be the ____ in my garage!
And thats all I got...anyone else got some pics from yesterday, post them up! I know B's got a good one of all of our Scions in the Nissan employee parking lot where we met up...couple of the Nissan guys were none too happy about that....LMAO
