With the exception of the tC drivers that I have met at our local breakfast meets and such, EVERY OTHER tC driver I have met is NOT FRIENDLY. A couple of things:
1. Sorry ladies, but I don't want you. i am Homo Superior and could care less that you are blond and pretty ;)
2. If you are a guy I am not trying to pick you up. I am trying to say "HEY! I drive a frickin tC Also."

 

i had a white tC cut me off once and bad. i had to get on the brakes to avoid hitting them.

and you wave and beep at another scion and they look at you like WE are crazy. what the hell?!

I'm a stuck up xB jerk. Just because no one else has a fly ride like mine why should I wave? I mean check out my road grime and the crack in my front bumper and you'll be able to tell... "this guy is waaay too good to wave at other Scions!"

 

tc owners are this way because they are out of the rest of our HP range... they feel that they are like the odd one of the three. because they are more sleek and attractive etc... My experience coming across tc's is move of them act as if they don't know wtf i am driving. YOU BAUGHT IT AT THE SAME PLACE I BAUGHT MINE... YOU HAD TO HAVE SEEN THE OTHER 2 MODELS.

 

yeah, there was this one guy at my college who got his tc a semester before i got mine, next semester when i was unpacking and moving into my dorm, he rolled up, saw me my tc, and immediately left. i heard from my roommate that he overheard him _____ing that some other loser bought his same car. he is probably over it by know since there are atleast a half dozen other tc's on campus.

I live in Lexington, and I usually beep at people driving Scions, the thing that sucks though is most people here that have them are old farts and look at me like I'm crazy.

 

Well there are other fun things to do when driving your scion....like point and laugh at riced-out hondas!! I enjoy that more than waxing there a$$ when they TRY to "fly" past me.

 

s2000's? Because thats my goal to beat, 250HP means nothing when you have half the TQ. I'm sure your car could smoke it though. s2000 has 8 red line but 147TQ means it's slow throughout the whole band.

 

I don't wave anymore. People just don't wave back. I just crank some fnm and ride on ignore.

 

ridding with my parents, corvette owners all wave to eachother, we should develop a similar comraderie!

 

I rev at other tC owners if I can tell they tune their car. Otherwise I just look and smile if my windows are down. They probably can't see me otherwise.

 

Well, no one smiles at me in my town because they know what I do.
Everyone hates me. Sucks to be the nerdy kid in high school then grow up and see all the broken dreams and people that hate you because you will have what they will never.
Be Jealous all the time, I can't even have a normal conversation with most people anymore they just stare at me with this disgusting stare. So I do what I always do retreat to the internet to find some open minded comfort, or friends and colleagues in LA and other states, or video games.

I'm not trying to rub it in. In fact I plan on making a difference. However when I do exit my town of close minded dilitats I have seen and buddy drove with other tC's out there.

Other than that it stays in the garage except when I get a call, and I usually don't tell a date or anybody for that matter what I do for a job until 72 hours later. Drop the gold diggers at the curb.
I work my ___ off for everything I have. Just trying to establish some respect not negative attention.

But if I see ya on the road, I'll make sure to beep and roll down my windows and say hi, like my name is Borat and I'm from khazikstan!

 

most other scion owners i have met are cool, we are like jeep owners, proud of our vehicles. most other scion owners i have met(im from lexington nc) are cool, its just a select few that are *********

Yeah, I get honked at a lot, but it still makes my day.

North Carolina would be heaven. Everyone who has Scions here buy them for daily drivers don't care about anyone else. My town is so dry and everyone so un friendly. I'm from Alabama originally and I have lived all over the world. People here just suck.
Plain and Simple, and usually when I meet someone worth talking to or driving with, it's rare and very much appreciated.

 

So, here in B-CStat ... NO ONE waves back ... I actually told a tC owner in the lane next to me that I liked his car and he gave me the ugliest look I have ever seen. When I pull up to another tC or they are close to me, I get ugly looks and I hate it. I'm like geez, don't be mean!

And then, when I go back to my hometown, everyone that drives a tC is like 100 and the others that don't are stuck up little preppy betches. I am with jmackdizzle ... it's not like I'm hitting on people, and if I were, it wouldn't be from my car! I am not a totally lame loser. lol. Whew. Venting.
