North GA meet...
The next meet here in Dalton is on the 12, every 2nd Saturday of the month. There arent to many Scions around here, other than mine and my g/f's xB I have only seen 2 other tC's and 6 xB's (mostly old people driving them). So if we could get some more Scions reps to come down and show these Honda guys and girls what were made of it would be awsome. Most of the cars around here are Honda's. You see a civic on every corner.
The show starts around 4 and runs until dark for most people.

Is there a car wash nearby? I want to get there about 3pm so I can wash off the bug goo and maybe get something to eat.

To correct my link:
The show is on N hamilton ST., its right be side the one on the marked in the link. There is a dinner on Depot ST. called The Depot. If you want to get your ride washed then there is a great car wash on E Walnut Ave, there are many fast food joints on the same road. If you need help with directions let me know.

Show was slow at first but got better as temps cooled. Shame no Scion salesmen were there. Must get cards from Jon. Had one lady said she would like to have one in Pink. We told her about xBeepbeep with her pink mods. We could have easily had about 6 contacts for Scion. 2 were VERY interested.
Loved the attention the cars got. Usually the first questions were, Who makes it/ what is it, and what kind of gas mileage does it get. Only had one guy that didn't like them. Said he only bought American made cars. Hate to break it to him, but if you look at all the Foreign made parts in cars these days, you would have to go back to the 60s to find a Truly American made car. Nothing against American made cars, I still have fond memories of some I love. But quallity and reliability have slipped from their grasp. Like so many other companies, it is Quanity, not Quallity that they are after.
