55 mph road. motorcycle with a jerk and a beeach in front of me. beeach starts flinging crap behind her blindly. starts dropping rocks? bolts? metal clinking crap? on the road where the driver side wheels would most likely pass. i slow down and drive carefully behind them. jerk slows down speed to 5 mph in no-passing lane part of country road, turns around completely toward me, and reaches into his leather jacket and pulls out a confederate flag badge (wtf???? loll) proudly throwing it around then speeds up super fast. im not gonna lie, i was fawking scared he was gonna pull out a shotgun and blow me away. 2 miles down the road he slows down and signals right. meanders onto the shoulder of the road. "lawd" i thought. "he's gonna let me go first so he'll have a better aim at me and dont gotta turn around." i considered stopping in full behind him but thought it smarter to speed on before i get peed on. oh and i tried taking a picture of them but my xb-matching camera had zero batteries. *sighs*

thats the one thing i really hate about nc. especially small towns with confederate flags displayed everywhere and small minds. rock your flags, i dont care, just keep your racist slurrs and haterade outta my hair.

So did you do anything to provoke them, like tailgate because that is one thing that ____es motorcylers off, me being one. Because it is just plain scary getting tailgated by a car. But anyways, sorry to hear. Did it damage your car?

 

I ride alot. The throwing bolts and crap (ball Bearings is a Fav)from the bike is an old school way of getting people to back off. Alot of grey beards keep a pocket full of odd and end bs to throw at people who do stupid crap on the road.

I dunno what was up with the flag bs. Did they have any patches on their backs? Prolly just some dumbass rednecks.

 

i can *sorta* understand if you were tailgating, i HATE it when people do that to me when im on my bike. Normally I just hit the brakes though, throwing something at another car is kinda much.

 

I think the underlying irony here is that someone on a motorcycle was throwing objects onto the same road they obviously travel on. Sounds like just a matter of time before they hit one of their own bolts or rocks and cause their own accident. . . Natural selection.

Hope it didn't hurt your Scion. I live in Alabama which is full of rednecks . . . but doing something like that would get the biker ran over or shot here.

Can you say *HP on the cell phone? I'd call that tag # in and have them ticketed. Which is worse.. inadvertantly tailgating or throwing hazardous crap on the road? What happens when the next guy comes down that road and runs over that mess? Or another biker drops his ride? The road is no place to play.

They throw old bolts and crap. So when you call the cops, they will say its a harley, crap falls off them sometimes. BTW I am not condoneing the activity , I have just been around the block and know exactly what they were doing.

Thats the same guy, that if you cut him off in traffic, he'll speed up nxst to your car and kick off your mirror and yell "use it or lose it".
