So when is the next Scion only in the piedmont region meet and greet? (anyone basically from where ever can come no doubt, but i think more locals might possibly show up...reason for posting in here)

i know there are a lot of get togethers on the weekends, but im talking more scion based instead of everyone based. (not hating on the other cars, just would like to talk to some fellow scion drivers)

i want to meet my fellow scion peers!

 

we used to do it monthly but nobody got them together any more...organize and I will sticky it

i would like to have inputs from others so we can all set this up and arrange the get together...


but i dont think anyone is interested since no one has posted in here.

i agree sometime in may. Ill be there is its in may. We should do it near the uncc speedway area bcause that is abotu central for everything.

Ill be home this saturday night and sunday. Im Stripping some parts off the tC. Ive got the exhaust, intake, short shofter, and hood to take off. It shouldnt take to long though.

I might be out at a meet sat depending on what time i get home.

SammieD: usually there are meets going on around the concord area ever fri and sat. And now that the weather is getting nicer there will be more people out at them. I know there are a few tCs that go

RSracer Check out tunerbrothers.com. ITs for the NC/SC area. The founder of the site is actually down in pineville which is right near you in rock hill. I know fridays and saturdays alot of people meet at salsaritas by the Air port and there are some tC's that go there. ive seen. You should bring the turbo tC out to the meet sometime.


Sid: Idk if imma have time to help u man. I would definitely if I was home for longer. Ive got to strip down my tC though. Then I gotta get back to school sunday night.

 

I'll try to make it out there as soon as i can, still need to get the AEM standalone tuned.

 

that site is kinda boring like 4 or 5 other local ho hum sites nothing new to draw people in....IMO

as for location, i do agree trying to be centralized would be greater but i am trying to aim at the whole piedmont region and not just the greater charlotte area.....

if in the case only the charlotte area (which im a bit aways from actually....i live in between statesville and mooresville) then i wouldnt mind finding a "back up" place if there arent more interest in from others from say from winston, g'boro, hickory, and all other surrounding areas, and those local across the border, etc...

just keep in mind though that i want this to be a scion only thing (at least at this time)...not just a tc thing but xa, xb, xd, and tc


so what would be a good first meet option? throw out some ideas to me?


i know my husbands meet that he goes to every second turesday of every month, they would all meet at o'charleys, all eat and goof off over lunch and then go outside, talk over the cars and just hang out and then would take a nice little crusie for a bit which ended up with a lot of good photo ops and then everyone would either go to someones house and "tinker" on the cars or whatever would be a little extra thing that someone would plan for that day. doesnt sound like a lot but it ends up being a good 3 hours


just some good clean monthly hang out fun....



if you have any ideas, throw them my way..... no idea is a bad one....
