This week I was contacted by someone working from a event marketing company that works for scion. He is looking for some scions to attend these events and talk about the cars and the aftermarket for a few hours with the crowd. He's got some free scion swag if your willing to go. SCION...backpacks..t-shirts, hats, socks, golf towels etc. One is this saturday, so I know it is short notice for alot of people. But the camp lejeune oneis on July 8th. This are a long hall for the crowd around charlotte. But maybe the MB crowd might be a little closer for that.

Ok here is the fine print. If I understand him right, These events are not open to the public. If you intrested in going. you have to contact him to get placed on a security list.

Yeah I tried to call in dead once but they just told ne to bring my dead a$$ to work. lol

 

i work/live on base so i can tell you what you will need to get a pass to go on base.

if you are a civilian that is.

1. valid driver's license
2. current registration
3. proof of insurance with the state's min. req. which is like 30-60-125 or something like that.
4. and vehicle inspection up to date (sometimes they don't care especially if your car is registered in another state)

but that's it. you just go through the gate and they will send you to the check in building. and you just have to tell them your destination. should be no problems at all.

 

For all of yall that are going to either event, please note that ScioNRG out of NY, Jersey and so forth do alot events with Mike and Progressive promos....but anyway please contact mike in one way or another and let him know which event you are attending so he can get his list together for the MP's at the front gate! This is what I was told by him during our conversation......hopefully with a good turnout things will be lookin up for us here in the South with the National SCION PROMOS>>>>>keep ur fingers crossed!!!!

 

who's goin? mike said he had a couple others goin. it would be nice to meet outside the gate and ride in together.
