Does anyone in the Charlotte area have 18's on a XB. The reason I ask is I am about to buy some rims and tires and I just want to make sure I am not going to bend a rim on some of the roads around here. I just want to be on the safe side.

 

We just had an 05 XB in stock with 18's. 14,000 miles and there was no wheel warpage or anything and that's Rowan County roads. I wouldn't see any problems with 18's around here. I'm getting ready to do a TC with 18" Katana's for a show car. Don't know where you're shopping, but many places offer road hazard insurance for $50-$75 for the whole set. Check with your insurance co. too. They may offer the same thing. Small price to pay if you are looking at laying up to 3 large out for some rims and skins.
