I have the next best thing! I finished designing and printing off business cards that I can hand out to Scion dealers/owners to promote the ScionLife and Scikotics sites. This way we can easily see more Minnesotans join the "Scion way of Life."
I currently have 1000 of each card after my first printing, paid out of my own pocket. I just hope that I don’t get into any trouble for swiping logs from the sites to make them more authentic.

If you would like some for your own use, I can get them to you, just PM me.
I have these files saved at Kinko’s in Coon Rapids, so I can print more and make changes to them if anyone has some thoughts on how to make them better.

It'd be nice to see some ScionLife screens up at dealerships or stickers or something. Heh - this forum is practically a necessity when you buy a Scion.

Oh crap... I have 1000 cards with misspellings on them now!
The file has been edited... The first post now has the new pic up with the correct spelling. Next batch of cards that get printed will have the correct spelling.

I did an ad set recently for a used car dealership in Mississippi who faxed over a bumper sticker to use as graphics (don't get me started) - but they had Mississippi spelled with 1 P. Kinda shot his credibility in my mind.

I can get you guys as many as you want, that ain’t a problem. The problem is that they are all a little blurry...
They are still great to have and are readable, but they are blurred to the point of questioning yourself if you had anything to drink...
Kinko’s forgot to mention that they had to convert my .jpeg files to .pdf files. When they do so, the pixels dropped and got blurry them when printed. I could have printed better at home, it would just take longer to cut them all out. They at least made it up to me by cutting the price almost in half.
The cards do come massively in handy! I see a Scion, pull over, pull them in the window seal and drive off. Quick and easy, sometimes I jot little notes on the back, like “Nice wheels!” or “I like your rack!” It’s so much nicer to have them look a little more legit than writing on a piece of paper you tore off a Cub Foods bag! Done that before…

I will be making a run out to all 8 ScionLife registered dealers in Minnesota this Saturday 7/1/06. I will also be stopping at 2 other dealers that sell and service Scions that are not registered online.
At each dealer, I will be handing out stacks of cards and my newly completed posters. The sales reps can hand out the cards for us and put the posters in their display cases or windows. I will be talk to them about promoting the sites and our future events. I’ll check out all of the showrooms, dealer lots and service departments to give a full report of what they are like.
The info I gather will be posted both on ScionLife and Scikotics. We can grade and judge the local dealers to see which one has the best knowledge of the cars and the “Scion way of Life!” I will make sure to take a ton of extra pictures and post them on Monday. It should be a fun filled day of driving about 240 miles among the dealerships.
Maybe I’ll see some of you at the dealerships if you are there for parts or servicing…
Later…

Perks for attending the MNSCION events, you should all come more often. It usually is only Flecs, CHPRBOX8 and I.

There usualy is an event or a small get together one or twice a month on Saturday mornings. Most of the time it is at Flecs work, the DQ in Edina!

Flecs works at the DQ in Edina? Good grief! That was *my* first job in high school--and at *that* DQ!!
...it's been remodeled a coupled of times since then, but it's like riding a bicycle, and I still can make a mean curl...
So since we're on the subject of Spell Checkers, and I inherited a spelling gene, may I point out that there's only one "i" in business?
Come and find me on Saturday, Rob. I'd love to give you a tour of our new dealership, and I want those cards and poster, too.
