final post @ scikotics
just incase it gets removed or locked or anything i wanted it to be safe here
im not really sure if the mpls chapter will be able to survive after the recent events and if this really is the beginning of the end for us then i would just like to thank everyone both old and new in the chapter and in the club as a whole...
im going to lay down a brief history of our chapter as i can remember it incase anyone steps up and trys to keep this place alive. i want you all to know how we started and how we got to where we are now.
the mpls chapter was started between august 05 and march 06 when the original founders of the chapter jeremy (hmfic) and JP (vmfic) learned of the club through scion life. at this time MN was dominated by an MNSC spin off club called MNScions but as Scikotics began to grow MNScions dissolved and a couple joined Scikotics but most did not.

When MNScions Merged W/ us
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/regional-north-1629/thinking-club-merge-37248/
planning of the first meet (didnt even have my scion yet when i attended this)
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/regional-north-1629/mall-america-meet-35127/
Sometime after the creation of the mpls chapter jeremy (hmfic) was going through some personal problems and jp (vmfic) was away at school so i basicly stepped up and started to plan meets for the club (i basicly named myself rmfic) jeremy eventually moved away so i bumped up to V and when JP was back from school he started to take back more on the responsibilities. around this time i had acquired travis (taktc) as a member for us when i almost literally drove him off the road to talk to him (he was the first modded tC i had seen around these parts) and not to long after me and jp had appointed him to rmfic. later on when JP had stepped down i jumped up to H and travis to V.
after my departure of the H position we had various other leaders like pete kary and mike and travis again and we all did our part to make the chapter/club as good as we could and i dont think any of us (even in the bad times) ever thought that it could end up this way.
the truth is this club has meant alot to me over the years. i was there at the beginning and i watched it grow and evolve. and even though there have been times that i have hated this place, it will always have a special place in my heart. it let me experience things i could have never imagined i would do. and let me meet some amazing people.
it is with this final post that i too leave this club.
i will miss you all and i thank those who will take the time to appreciate this.

Right. Sounds like a sad ending to a "cool" (in your eyes) chapter.
There's a ton of clubs that have had the same destiny as yours so don't feel alone.
A couple of things.
1) Just say ____ it and move on, there's better people out there that don't necessarily drive scions.
2) Chill with the acronyms, there's not a single "rmfic" or "fmic" that I understood.
3) Punctuation is not one of your strongest points.
4) Have a nice day and enjoy your summer.

Indeed you did and where it was needed.
I only read it because I've been in your situation and wanted to hear how someone else absorbed the "break up". Only difference with me is that I didn't give a ____ after 30'.
