Hi guys, I just put the order for a TCM xB yesterday. Not too far to get it.

Update: Got the xB last night. Love it! Thanks Jessica.

Thanks XB_Boy. The winter is so long in MN. I guess TCM is not too hard to be seen in the snow (another important safety feature). Besides, it does not show the dirt easily .

I did not buy any extra. But I think floor mat and security would be necessary. Are the Scion floor mats better, or cheaper than the aftermarket ones? Any recommendations on security systems?

hm, well most of the dealer accesories are WAY overpriced, i would take this time to research your other options on security. i dont have any security on my car(even tho with all my electronics i should) but if you have any other questions feel free to PM me or IM me.

cool.

If your driving it in the winter, I'd recommend getting different tires. The goodyears it comes with suck badly.

I have a second set of rims that I put summer only tires on...Sooo I was able to get winter only tires for the stock wheels.
I used the goodyears last winter, I had 2 accidents in the snow. One involving a high curb. The other I didnt hit anything, but i slid through an intersection going down a hill. I almost took out a large group of cars with me.
This will be my first winter with the winter tires, I'm putting them on when it freezes.

Heres what I got. Pirelli snowsport's from BZ2 in minneapolis for $80 each. Blizzaks are about $120 each and have the same ratings in snow and wet weather as the pirelli's.

Thank you Brian! The tires are really important in the winter. My friend had two accidents last winter due to poor control on the snowy road. One of her cars was totaled. The Pirelli rates great. The price is not bad too. I will consider replace the stock ones with them. Thank you for the link!

No snow before I get my xB.

Congrats on the order. I am waiting it out for my BCP xB that should be done and in my hands the first part of December.

I ordered mine with the 3M clear bra, manual transmission, and the extra is I'm having a Webasto canvas sunroof put in it.

I still don't know when my xB will be built yet. It should be in my hands by the end of Dec.

How long have you been waiting so far?

I have been waiting 3 weeks so far. They tell me that once it's allocated it should take 6-8 weeks to get it. Once it's officially being built, it should take about 10 business days.

lancerjin & ctruss, it's well worth the wait; when I ordered mine I was told 6-8 weeks but it only took three. the longer you have to wait, the more you'll appreciate it once it arrives. the wait does suck though, this site helped me cope

You deserve more love from your xB based on what Tmanion said.

WOOHOO!!!!

I got the call Saturday and my xB is being built. The dealer should get it around November 28th and then they are sending it out for the sunroof. I should have it the first week of December.

Got the car today right after it arrived. Many thanks to Jessica for the excellent work!

First mod: I went to Wal-mart directly from the dealer and bought floor mats. These are a must in Minnesota.

I got my car 2 weeks ago now. It's a great car and I LOVE the canvas sunroof I had the dealer put in.

It took them all afternoon at Toyota City to finance me for some reason so they gave me a super deal on the mother of all warranties.....

I got a 7yr/75,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty with no deductable on repairs, free loaners, and free towing for only $250!
