Alright, now that this thread has been properly jacked...
What's the consensus on the install meets?

Also, what DIY mods do people want to do but just haven't gotten around to doing them?

 

i dont have anything to install but if there is one i will show up and give a helping hand

Depending on what needs to be done I might be able to help with mods in the engine bay. Also can help with electronics and wiring (including lighting, gauges, and ICE)

 

Ooh, electronics and lighting? I've always wanted to add another dome light or two (e.i. map light and cargo light) and change my gauge/hvac lighting color.

But it sounds like I'm the only one who wants to work on their car, sounds like everyone else would be there to help. Everyone else has their cars just how they want them? My box is pretty much stock (pretty dull). I figured there would be atleast one more like me out there. Well, if people still want to do it, we can set up a weekend in June or something. Grill out, hang out and mod.

 

I am pretty much a jack of all trades, I can help wrench, and I am an ex car audio installer. Although i am used to the v-8's of old. these new engines are new to me. I generally don't mess with anything over the year of 1972! Let me know and I can stop by to help. I am going to be building a new sub box soon as I am not liking the 8 inchers in the car now. so if anyone wants to learn how to do fiberglass, bring the beer and we can build a box.

So, so far we've got a bunch of people willing to help and only me looking to do some mods? Weird. Well, I guess I'd still be interested in having an informal Scion cookout this summer, modding or not.
