that is all pointless. why, can you only be a member of one club? or are like all the clubs beef'in with one another like bloods and crypts? i mean, a car club is a car club. not like they are political parties or religious sects. why can't you be in skikotics, and 1up crew, and scion evolution, and team scionized and uh...the shriners all at the same time? i mean, unless they are competing with eachother at car shows or events or something.

how do you recruit people anyway? be like our club is cooler, and we have wet-teeshirt and bikini contests all the time and our whips are phatter and we got more JDM ish than anybody else? i would presume that you join a club because you share common interests and usually enjoy the company that you hang out with while there.

 

I'm in my own car club. None of you are invited... and yes we do have wet t-shirt contests and binge drinking every night of the week at the local topless bar... lol Silly unnecessary drama.

FYI, Scikotics allows multi-club membership. Just curious who banned you and if they actually read da rules.

1. You must own a Scion.
2. Don't be an bumhole.
3. Monthly get-togethers are a must, inactivity kills chapters.
4. If you decide to change the stickers, you must leave the basic logo [the font] the same.
The logo is copyrighted and trademarked, it can not be changed... Any changes must be approved by the TMFIC.
5. Don't make your chapter into a clique [small, exclusive group of people, as in: I wasn't invited to join their clique.]
6. If you get banned from the website, you are out of the club, period!

You might run into issues if there is a Scikotics event and one for another club the same day (or at the same event) but other than that not sure why it would be a problem. Drax, you know I roll in with SE half the time when my club is too lazy or broke to show at an event anyway.

Sounds like some petty ish with just within chapter judging by your other post, I'd be ____ed too if I took off work to do a gig and then had my spot filled. We have had our share of problems, like chapter head being booted over personal BS with the national head at the time, but overall it's been a positive experience.

BTW, He's back on the boards (Stu_Gotti). Forever only really applies to death and taxes,... and maybe the national debt.

Competition isn't really an issue because the closest other scion club is 2 hours away. I'm in it mainly because I love my Scion, and like hanging out with outher people who like theirs as well. The club just makes it easier to coordinate stuff and stay in contact with people between meets.

If you wanted to keep it Scikotic, could always bring it up with Brant (Boxzila). Otherwise, good luck with the new club or riding solo, and don't let club drama deter you from the Scion community in general.

Yeah Eddie I know I didn't actually break any rules but it's cool. What ever happens, happens I guess.

 

Nah you can be in multiple clubs, but if you are using one club site (ie. Scikotics) and PMing members to leave and join you're club, that's kinda low.

Also, people get banned for stirring up problems purposely on the boards. Causing issues for other members, being an overall nuisance, etc. (Such as posting an avatar that shows something crude or derogatory towards the club).
