I didnt get home until 7pm and by the time I'd be able to get there from Arden Hills I thought it would be pretty damn impossible to find you guys.

My class was cancelled, but I got called in for a last minute meeting. I hope you all have fun, please take pics for the rest of us.

I'm so bummed I missed it!! I will definately have to hit the next one with my new xB!!! Should have it the end of this week. I can't hardly stand it any longer!

To answer someone's question earlier in the post, I ordered through Rudy Luther Scion in Golden Valley. They were awesome!! Don't have anything bad to say about the whole experience. I initially ordered a black manual xB, but they got a Thunder Cloud Metallic one in, and I test drove it and fell in love. I got the spoiler, the ipod upgrade, cruise, and the front strut tie bar. I'll probably add on as I go, but that will start me out!

Here's hoping I meet some fellow Scion Lifers one day!!

First and foremost, thank you Rudy Luther Scion, that was cool of you to bring everyone together and then pay for it. I agree, we definitely need to do something again; preferably before the weather turns so people can keep their rims on.

On an even better note I picked up my xB tonight!!! Before picking it up (I'm working on a name, "it" just doesn't seem appropriate), I'd never even sat inside one; I can't believe how spacious it feels. Unfortunately, they told me the strut tower brace was discontinued (B.S.?) but I did take Jeremy and Jessica's advice and am going to have the 3M laminate applied when the security system is installed.

I'd be willing to have people over for a party or something, but it wouldn't be for a few weeks (going to be in and out of town).

Just got a name idea, I'm thinking, "Biggie" as in Biggie Smalls.

Flecs, even though you're sans box right now, that will make the day it comes that much sweeter.

Too bad about the brace, but you can always get something aftermarket if you really want it. I'm not sure if the dealer was full of $hit, I don't see why they'd discontinue it.

You mentioned getting the clear turn signal lense/covers on the sides, do you know where I can find those?

Thanks

theres a write up in the tech section... all you do is take out your headslights and remove the yellow reflecor with some needle nose pliers... ill go find it for you and post it in a sec... it should only take an hour and a half at the most to do the mod

EDIT: heres the link
