Default My car is in the shop.. Boooooooo

Well as of as soon as I got it I noticed that shifting from 1st to second and to 3rd it grinded allitle. Then it got worse. So i took it in. From what i have been reading alot of peeps had this problem and they replaced syncros and tranny... kindev a crapy deal, Hopefully it doesnt take to long. Maybe Jess can kick those service guys in the butt to make them magically fix it fast, hahaha. but seriously this sucks. Has anyone else in the mn region with a tc experienced this. Just curious. Thanks

well i got my car back, but it is kinda BS because the tech drove it with me when i dropped it, then when they called the service guy said the tech drove it and when the tranny was warm he said he didnt notice the grinding, and plus he said the milage was to low to determine anything. So i told them that it better be still covered when i come back in here in 4 months. Because the told me to break the car in first. what ever.

Sorry Andy. I hope you can get it figured out. I'll do what I can if you need me to.

I was just getting this ticking noise checked out that's been there since 10k miles. They think it's in the clutch area - then they said it was because of my aftermarket clutch/flywheel. Noooooo, it made that noise before I had that installed. Whatever I guess. Now that's back together but they're waiting for an axel seal that doesn't leak. Should be today I'm guessing...

Andy, your problem lies in the gravel I threw in your transmission when you weren't looking.

Yes, it just so happens you have a case of cooter sand in your transmission.
