Future plans/mods: Window tinting (maybe that front bumper film that protects from bugs, I havent heard too much about it though), TRD Supercharger, Short throw shifter.

Does anyone know about that film that can be put over the front bumper to avoid scratches and bugs and chips? Is it any good?

Sweet. I'll be sure to make sure I do it before winter. That and some perfectly legal window tinting at 50%, Yeah right. 35% all the way.

I sell the 3M Scotchguard at Corwin Toyota....the stuff is great. Most places wont put it on front bumpers, but only the front of the hood, front of the fenders and the mirrors. Talk to your local dealer and find out.. I highly recommend it, and i would deffinetlely recommend getting it before you get any bugs or chips in it. Hope this helps =)

Default 3M Scotchcal

We at Rudy Luther Scion, too, sell the 3M Scotchcal protector, and have a great vendor who will run it up 18" on the hood. In fact, I have it on my xB. I also have the front bumper covered. I'll have the car here tomorrow for the grand opening if you want to see it then. We can schedule it done for you yet this week if you want it. Give me a call. You've got my number!

how much does the 3M Scotchcal protector cost? I've noticed one small chip in the pain on the font of my car already but it could be from the previous owner.

I think the cost depends on how much you want covered. eg: the bumper, mirrors, pillars, fendars?

I am probably going to do this and window tinting at the same time. But that may have to wait a little while.
