It was super to meet all of you! I am really happy so many "Scikotic Minnesota Scion" owners came to see our new digs.

Travis, thanks for your expertise! Yes, your customers did buy a tC.

Now you all need to decide what you'd like to do for meets and how we can help (think location, money, prizes--we really do want to support you and promote our awesome cars.)

Thanks again for showing, and giving the Grand Opening celebration such a jump start. Those of you who were here know what I mean!

Sorry I didn't make it.

After spending the day on gravel roads in the rain my little black (now road grime brown) xB was in no shape to be seen in public and the only car wash that I trust was closed by the time I got home.

 

 

lol... dam did those people freak when you wore that in there

 

gm = no sense of humor

 

a couple people had smiles and knew what it was all about. the rest had curious looks. the GM came up to the counter after we had already asked to see Nancy and was wondering why we were there. I told him "To cause trouble!", he didn't laugh. I then told him that we were invited by Nancy to the grand Opening and that we were from the Scikotics car club. He then turned and left. I only wish now that half of us would have shown up in straight jackets and hannibal masks being wheeled in on dollies by the other half in prison guard uniforms. that would have really started something!!!

I'm glad to hear that they bought the tC afterall.

We will put our heads together and get you ideas on what types of support we could possibly need.

It was fun seeing some of the Scikotics members up there supporting Scion and Luther Toyota/Scion for the grand opening.

sorry I was not able to make it. Had an extremely long day at work. Sounds like you guys coused a bit of trouble.

 

You know, I don’t really think that she cares too much. She had no interest in the ceremonies or the bigwigs that were there. She was more excited to see us there and talk about the cars. I think that was the whole purpose for us being there was so she didn’t have to mingle with the bigwigs. That also goes for us, it was more fun to cause trouble!
Hope they don’t mind the tread marks in their new lot!

 

Apparently the people with the trays had to fight off street bums that were coming in for free food... and they were worried about US!??

 

I don't *think* I'm in trouble. I'm just sorry I missed the entrance by nanoseconds. I *love* the picture! Glad you posted it so I can see what I missed.

It made my night to have you all show up! I do know that the GM is a really great guy who was a little nervous about doing his speech last night, and your entrance was just before his thing, so he may have been a bit tense. That's not like him at all. He's very cool, and a big supporter of Scions.
