Ok first off, yes the movie will likely suck, but I wanna watch it for the cars and drifting...

back to my question: anyone know if there is a private screen for scion owners in MN like this one ( https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=122241 ) for PA?

We will be watching 3 Fast 3 Furious (get it!? ) at

7:55 (7:15 is sold out!)

at the southdale center. We'll be at Bloomington Kennedy around 6:30-6:45 and head to Water Tower at Southdale after that. We'll have about an hour to chill n stuff before the movie starts. I'll bring my camera along so we can take pics and videos.

Make sure you get your tickets early just in case we get there and there is a long line or it's sold out. I'll be getting my ticket thursday after i get off work around 6' ish, if you want to meet up and hang out for a bit, PM me for my cell.

Then we'll be heading to Uni after so come if you can![/b]

 

not that i know of but i have a friend at the southdale AMC... maby he can hook us up with somthing

definently... i know for sure for about 100 we can rent a VIP room to watch it... so we split the cost of the 100 plus tickets it shouldent be too much... i belive it holds about 15 people... but i can check into it... if were going to hav emore people than that we can just use the regular theater

 

There's a thread on the MNSC board about getting people together to go see this - if not with this group, maybe with both groups we can arrange a screening?

 

im gonna be home for a week, but the movie will already be out for a week, i know everyone wants to see it on opening night but i wanna see it again and again, ( im a rice-boy at heart) shh dont tell anyone

Post the date and time and I'll be there as well, but only for the cars, that is all.

The movie plot sucks, the actors are not great and all of the race filming was done here in Cali. Very little of it has anything to do with the real Tokyo and its racing scene. It is supposed to be a realistic rendition of street drifting, realistic is downhill mountain pass racing. You want something more interesting, check out Initial D, and not the US released DVD’s. The Import original and uncut stuff is what you want to see.

 

Southdale is fine with me.
