Default Window Tinting

I know some of this has been covered in here before.

I want to get my windows tinted but am debating to do it now of in the spring. Does anyone know if it makes a difference? I know of a good place in downtown Minneapolis that does tint work (they replaced 3 windos for me on my old civic), but I'm not sure what their prices are for tint jobs. I can tell you off the top of my head though how much a passanger window costs on a 93 civic htough.

Any suggestions?

When it's colder it'll take longer for the bubbles to evaporate from between the window and the film. It goes by fairly quickly in the summer when it's hot.

I would rep BZ, but none of the guys I knew that did mine, work there anymore. I have seen the results of Street Scenes and its the best at a very competative price. Go to Street Scenes IMHO.

hmm.. sounds liek I should wait till spring at least. I'm still not sure what % I'm going to get. I wanna see if they would be able to match the indow tint with the Flint Mica paint as much as possible.

to go that dark you will be at around 30 -35% which is illegal. however, most shops will make sure that you understand that if you get pulled over for having too dark of tint on your car, in no way willt he shop be responsible. i have 35% on mine and i haven't been stopped once for the tint, but i have for speeding and they never said anything about the tint

Same here. My old car had 35%, I have gotton pulled over as well for speeding and nothing said abou the tint.

And the tC has 35% and never been pulled over *knocks on wood.*

30% is pushing it I think. 35% is just right.

Just do what I did, Drive to Vegas and get them tinted there. LOL. It is also way cheaper out there. The money I saved paid for gas one way. Well, it helps that I know people out there. I miss Vegas
