Sorry guys, its official, this event is 21 and over only.
Just received confirmation from the boss. We're updating scionvip.com to reflect that right now.

its cool that people are coming from different distances to go to this. my BF is gonna come up from Maryland too...he didn't get picked for Miami so he's excited to go to this and hopefully win a VIP package

Hey guys,
Thank you for the tremendous response to the PREVUE event so far. RSVPs are coming in fast and we are excited as you are about the event. We wanted to take a moment to address a couple of questions that have popped up about the event on this forum as well as in PMs.
First, yes - the event is strictly a 21 years and over event. The event registration homepage now has this clearly stated. We apologize that information was conveyed clearly for those who registered earlier. Obviously, we keep an eye out on the forums - one reason for the delay in clarification is that we tried to see how we could make this a 18+ event.
Unfortunately, as some of you have correctly guessed - venue rules, regulations, and insurance make this not possible.
Please note that, understandably, the venue has indicated that it will STRICTLY enforce the age requirement.
We apologize to Scion owners affected by this; this event is one of many Scion events that will be taking place this year - many 18 and event below 18 friendly. We hope that anybody unable to attend this event will attend other Scion events (including the 18+ Scion Winter GP II event sticky'd in this forum).
Scion obviously tries to accommodate its owners as much as possible, but we regret that we cannot be universally accommodating at this particular event.
Secondly, as posted elsewhere in this thread, our selected venue's operation license was temporarily suspended beginning last weekend in response to several code violations. We are told that the situation should not affect our invite-only Feb. 22 event.
That said, we are following the situation and any changes to the event will be distributed at scionVIP.com, via email, and through forums.

ok i need to kind of vent this out now....
why would you have a scion sponsored event for 21 + when the brand is centered around people 18 to like 26. It really sucks to be an 18yr old when u guys put on these events. I feel so left out...

sooo i'm lazy and don't feel like looking around.....did they say when they are going to pick the package winners or even if things with the club got straightened out since the last report we heard?
